1. No classes

January 27th, Thursday, as I woke up and check my itouch for news, the city of New York annouced that there will be no classes today because of snow. Wohooo, a day every student wish for, that it would snow enough to cancel school. Yesterday it started to snow but didn’t know for sure that it will continue all night and really create problems for today’s commute. Indeed it snowed enough last night to catch the city officials’ attention and decide that we have had enough and finally announced to cancel classes. A great day to play outside or just stay home and enjoy the free time. For me, it’s a great day to stay inside and watch movies with my baby and cuddle all day long. I don’t like cold too much. “Dear John” and “Entre Nos” (a Colombian movie made in New York) were two good movies to watch for a day like this. But now it’s 4pm and reality is starting to sneak in. I have 2 exams and 1 assignment to finish by Monday and I have to start doing school stuff. Nothing last, “no classes” is not an exception. But it was great to have the free time to breathe and relax for a bit.
